The Nashca Funerals team has been compassionately dealing with clients since they were first established as Windt Broers by Adriaan and Magda Windt in 2001. In 2013 Adriaan and Magda renamed the company Nashca Funerals (the name being an amalgamation of the names of the couple’s two daughters, Natasha and Adrishca), priding themselves on believing in strong family values that form the core of their business ethos. Nashca is a family company looking after family needs.

Nashca Funerals offers clients peace of mind by offering them around-the-clock personal and professional service, regardless of whether they are policyholders, 365 days a year. The Windt family are very sensitive to the cultural, ethnic and religious needs of their clients and know first-hand that the loss of a loved one or friend is a traumatic experience.

Offer fast and efficient service when registering the death with the Department of Home Affairs (with certified copies)
Attend to all claims for existing funeral policies, regardless of whether they are held with Nashca Funerals
Collect ashes and ensure their safe return to those left behind

Policies

Nashca Funerals offers a range of policies to the communities within the greater Hermanus area including Gansbaai, Stanford, Hermanus and Kleinmond. Policyholders from other companies are welcome and there is no waiting period if the existing policy is older than six months.

Exclusive Funeral Policies for Pensioners

The policy matures after a three-month waiting period.

Exclusive Cover for Pensioners (66 to 84 years of age):

R7,000 cover at R70 p/m
R10,000 cover at R95 p/m

Exclusive Cover for Pensioners (between the ages of 85 to 90 years):

R7,000 cover at R110 p/m
R10,000 cover at R160 p/m

Exclusive Funeral Plan for Pensioners (65 and 85 years):

The package comes into effect after only three months and Nashca Funerals provides a full funeral or cremation for the member.

Monthly Premium - R75

Package Includes:

Removal and transportation of the deceased within an 80km radius of the office where the policy is held
Entry-level coffin
Administration fees
Doctor's fees (if applicable)
Registering the death with Home Affairs (with registered copies)
Securing a gravesite with the municipality or paying the crematorium fee (to the value of R3,100)
Wooden cross or urn
Floral spray for the coffin or church arrangement
Colour funeral programs x 100

Exclusive Funeral Plan (14 and 64 years)

The package comes into effect after only three months and Nashca Funerals provides a full funeral or cremation for the member / members.
