The Cabins at NJR Farm

Experience hurried country life when you stay at The Cabins at NJR Farm, also known as Nuwejaarsrivier Farm just outside Kleinmond. The working-farm offers a self-catering experience suitable for a family or small group of friends. The Cabins at NJR Farm offer three rustic cabins, two of which are the sleeping quarters, each with a shower ensuite. The third cabin is the recreational kitchen and lounge area with amenities that include an indoor braai, hot tub and a patio with a braai and pizza oven. The Cabins at NJR Farm must be rented together and there are three camping sites available as an optional extra with separate ablution facilities for camping guests. A reminder that there are open dams as well as farm traffic, so special care must be taken if your group includes young children. The Cabins at NJR Farm can accommodate one group with a minimum of four adults.

About

The Cabins at NJR Farm consist of three rustic cabins. Cabin 1 and 2 are the sleeping quarters, and each has a shower ensuite. Cabin 3 houses the open-plan kitchen and lounge as well as a patio with magnificent views of the countryside.

The rates at The Cabins at NJR Farm are as follows:

Rates

R1,000 per night per cabin (minimum two-night stay)

Cancellation Policy

Less than 14 days forfeit the full deposit
From 14 to 21 days forfeit 50% of the deposit
From 21 to 28 days forfeit 25% of the deposit
The full deposit will be forfeited for cancellations between 15 December and 5 January
Non-arrivals will be charged the full accommodation amount

Although The Cabins at NJR Farm are set away from the hustle-and-bustle of the city they are close enough to a host of activities. When you need a break from all the relaxing you can:

Embark on one of the hiking trails that will lead you to spectacular views
Explore one of the many MTB routes that criss-cross the countryside
Experience catch-and-release fishing on the NJR Farm
Play golf at one of the area’s three golf courses (Arabella, Kleinmond and Hermanus)

Sample some of the region’s top wines at wine estates in Botrivier and Hemel-en-Aarde Valley
Take a stroll on the cliffs in Hermanus and see southern right whales in the bay (June to December)
