Discover The Cottage at NJR Farm that is located at the Nuwejaarsrivier in Kleinmond, and experience the unhurried pleasure of farm-life at its best. This chic, beautifully refurbished two bedroom farm cottage has a fantastic view of the surrounding farmlands and the mountains. There is a wood fired hot tub beside the outside braai area, ample seating on the wrap-around patio and an indoor fireplace to add to the cosy ambience of the cottage. The open-plan lounge is equipped with unique, upmarket furniture and decor and the kitchen is well-fitted with top brand, retro-style appliances. Each of the identical bedrooms has a King-size bed that can be separated to make two single beds. Both bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a bath, a shower, a toilet and a basin. The Cottage at NJR Farm sleeps a total of four people.

Although the Cottage at NJR Farm is set away from the hustle and bustle of the city it is in close proximity to a host of interesting activities. When you need a break from all the relaxing you can:

Play golf at one of the area’s three golf courses (Arabella, Kleinmond and Hermanus).
Sample some of the regions top wines at wine estates in Botrivier and Hemel-en-Aarde Valley.
Take a stroll on the cliffs in Hermanus and see Southern Right Whales in the bay during the months of June to December.

Experience catch and release fishing on the NJR Farm.
Explore one of the many MTB routes that criss-cross the countryside around The Cottage at NJR Farm.
Embark on one of the easy to intermediate hiking trails that will lead you to spectacular views.

Cancellation Policy

Less than 14 days forfeit the full deposit.
From 14 to 21 days forfeit 50% of the deposit.
From 21 to 28 days forfeit 25% of the deposit.
Full deposit will be forfeited for cancellations between 15 December and 5 January.
No-shows will be charged the full accommodation amount.

The Cabins at NJR Farm

The Cabins at NJR Farm is the sister accommodation of The Cottage at NJR Farm.

Three rustic cabins, two of which are the sleeping quarters, each have a shower ensuite. The third cabin is the recreational kitchen and lounge area with amenities that include DStv, indoor braai, hot tub and a patio with a braai and pizza oven. The Cabins at NJR Farm must be rented together and there are three camping sites available as an optional extra with separate ablution facilities for camping guests.
