Looking Forward To Welcoming You On Board As A Partner!

Child Welfare SA Kleinmond, in partnership with Hangklip-Kleinmond Tourism, Overstrand Municipality: Directorate: LED & Tourism Department & SAPS Kleinmond, will be hosting a Youth Career Expo on Wednesday 3 July 2019.

We would like to invite members of the private as well as public sector to participate in the event. The idea is to engage with local high-school going students and neighbourhood youth through a series of interactive and demonstration-type workshops. In this way, these targeted groups can come and experience first-hand the various career opportunities and streams of tertiary or vocational studies that are available to them.

Youth Career Expo Focus Areas

  • All high school going students are welcome, as too those youth who may inadvertently have dropped out before completing matric.  However, the main focus will be on assisting learners in making career choices best suited to their particular needs and aptitudes.
  • Participants/Stakeholders can use the opportunity to showcase their respective business offerings.  It will also allow enterprises with scarce skill-sets to present their unique basket of capabilities.
  • Interactive Sessions / Demonstrations.
  • An exhibition space/table will be provided. Participants will need to bring their own tablecloth and relevant exhibition material.
