This Saturday will be our last curry night at the Zoo before major restorative building work by the landlords.
The story of how Art Zoo curator, John Charalambous stumbled across what is surely the most unique juicer in South Africa is just about as tantalizing as the fresh juice that it produces. It was love at first sight when John stumbled across this artsy culinary gadget that is made out of recycled soft-drink cans, while on holiday in Oaxaca, México. The juicer immediately found its way into John’s backpack and made the long journey home with him.
Enjoy delicious and oh-so healthy juices that John creates from fresh herbs, vegetables and fruit (ingredients that are sourced from the Zoo’s own garden wherever possible).
