The trail meanders through the Fynbos-covered foothills of the Riviersonderend Mountains with contrasting sheer rock faces, rocky outcrops and rain forests, the biggest of which is known as “Bettie’s Bos”.
The brave of heart can swing on the monkey ropes suspended from the overhead canopy or swim in the numerous natural pools en route.
The campsite is rustic but comfortable, with grass underfoot, plenty of shade and the Krom River flowing at your doorstep, keeping the younger generation busy whilst the adults get a chance to relax and enjoy nature at its best.
