An Unforgettable Experience

Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary is a non-profit organisation outside Stanford in the Overberg. The organisation provides a haven for rescued captive-bred big cats, and there is no breeding or trading of animals. Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary works towards educating the public on conservation matters and offers educational tours throughout the year. You can expect to see lions, leopards, tigers, caracals and even one or two non-cat residents. During visits, Panthera's knowledgeable and passionate team shares information about each resident's journey and highlights the plight of captive-bred animals. To remain self-sustaining, Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary welcomes donations and thanks you for your interest.
