Enjoy Birdwatching at Reed Cottage in Stanford

Stanford is a wonderful destination for bird lovers, and you don't have to go far to spot some beautiful birdlife! The garden at Reed Cottage is home to a variety of birds, including Red Bishops, Cape Weavers, Sunbirds, Cape Canaries, Robin-Chats, Olive Thrushes, White-eyes and Southern Boubous.

For even more birdwatching, take a walk along the Wandelpad beside the Klein River, or visit Willem Appel Dam to look out for Kingfishers, Teals, Herons and Coots.

You can also enjoy a cruise on the Klein River, where you'll have the chance to see even more amazing birdlife.
