Landskein Wines is the new name for the historic Sir Robert Stanford Wine Estate, marking the start of a vibrant new chapter beneath the Kleinrivier Mountains in Stanford. Inspired by an old Gaelic word describing the interweaving of horizon lines, Landskein reflects the harmony between land, nature, and people. Led by winemaker and co-founder Tariro Masayiti, the estate embraces regenerative viticulture and conservation to craft wines that express their unique terroir. The 165-hectare farm, with 50 hectares under vine, has been beautifully renewed with revitalised vineyards, a renovated tasting room overlooking a dam and amphitheatre, and diverse soils of shale, granite, and quartz. Landskein’s collection includes Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Petit Verdot, with a Pinot Meunier Cap Classique set to launch soon.
