Speaking For Those Who Don’t Have A Voice

Stanford Animal Welfare Society (SAWS) is a non-profit organisation that works closely with local volunteers who offer their services at no charge. SAWS offer a safe haven for underprivileged, lost, abandoned, abused animals in-and-around Stanford. The organisation also provides shelter for animals in the hope that they are adopted by a forever family. Added to their list of services, SAWS offer pet sterilisation, dipping and deworming at a reduced price to preapproved pet owners. The Stanford Animal Welfare Shop which sells donated preloved items to generate funds for SAWS is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 till 14:00, Fridays from 11:00 until 15:00, as well as on Saturdays from 10:00 until 12:00.

This shop is a bargain hunter's dream and regular visits to the store are a ‘must-do’ if you are in the area.

The welfare shop relies heavily on the public for new stock which is always something to think about when next you declutter. All donations are welcome no matter how big or small. You know what they say about one mans junk….
