Speaking for the speachless

SAWS otherwise known as Stanford Animal Welfare Society are a group of voluntary Stanford citizens that devote their time to save and help the unprivileged Stanford animals.

Stanford Animal Welfare Society has been operating since March 2000 and has been growing ever since. The organisation is run under a group of voluntary Stanford Citizens that give their time, love and care for the unprivileged animals of Stanford.

Together with lots of support we work to better the lives of those who can not speak for themselves. Dip days, spay and neuters are arranged at a lessen cost for those in need, sometimes for free and only a donation required. We also do lots of charity drives such as the Nose To Tail, Music on the Lawn and are present at the Stanford Sunset Markets.

Find the welfare shop on the corner of Victoria and Bezuidenhout Street, which is open from Wednesdays till Saturdays between 10 and 12. But we can be contacted outside office ours if need be.

Together we can make a difference in the lives of those which always makes a positive impact on our lives.
