“I recently treated my family to stay over at the Brunia Cottage at Stanford Hills Estate. Upon arrival we were taken aback by the beauty of the place and its magnificent setting amongst the vineyards and the protea plantation. We were greeted by a lady by the name of Trish who kindly showed us where to go. She told us to make ourselves at home. We proceeded to this beautiful clean cottage overlooking the Stanford Valley. We loved the quaintness of the little cottage. We then explored further and had a delicious meal at the Tasting Room. The manageress was such a friendly lady. We sampled the wine which was out of the top drawer. Again with the sun shining it was beautiful just to relax and take in the wonderful views. After our lunch we walked around the property right up the hills on the 5km set out walk. It was just awesome as you get higher you take in the beautiful views. I must say I come from KZN , but I have never experienced such beauty as what Stanford Hills had to offer. I do not regret treating my family all the way from KZN to such an awesome place to relax and chill out. For me Stanford Hills Estate is the place to be.” Sunnybrae Tripadvisor
“We invited some special friends to join us in the grand old Manor House at Stanford Hills and found it a perfect home from home. The crisp white sheets, superb mattress in the main bedroom, elegant wine glasses and loads of space for the kids suited us perfectly.” Phillippa M Tripadvisor
“Beautifully cottages, we stayed in Sylvia and other family in Brunia, well equipped, comfortable beds, clean, good décor and gave us the comfort that we were looking for. Dog friendly, staff welcoming, lovely weekend getaway cottages and lots to do in and around Stanford.
Had a wedding at the venue, the food that came out of the kitchen of the Tasting Room was excellent.” Edwina Tripadvisor
