Official Statement Regarding Live Events 2020

Stanford Hills Summer Sunset Sessions 2020

Dear valued guests and loyal supporters,

At this time we feel that it is simply not safe nor sensible to proceed with our regular Summer Sunset Sessions at Stanford Hills for 2020, given the challenges involved with the mandated social distancing rules. We will continue to watch developments closely, as we would love nothing more than to once again fill the Hills with music.

We have not taken this decision lightly. We have been keeping a constant eye on news and updates regarding Covid statistics and relevant regulations, and having daily meetings debating the pros and cons of various options.

But for the rest of 2020 we will keep events smaller and simpler, and start planning for a cracker of a year in 2021, bringing back all our favourite artists to the Overberg. The Stanford Stumble fundraiser will take place on Saturday 28 November, but in a smaller and somewhat different format...keep an eye out for further info to follow soon.

PS. THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE LAZING AROUND!! The Tasting Room remains open seven days a week from 08:30 am for breakfasts and long lazy lunches. We are fortunate in that we have ample space to allow for social distancing. Enquire for our special rates for end of year functions and other smaller celebrations.

We are busy with upgrades to our various accommodations, have just labelled a new vintage of a whole range of awesome estate wines, are busy putting up three new Africamps glamping tents (with wood-fired hot tubs), finishing off our picnic deli, and the Tasting Room building and menu has had a bit of an upgrade... come and visit and see for yourself!!
