Chelsea Flower Show - Village Market - Talks - Workshops - Live Entertainment

Mon, 14/09/2026, 08H00 - 20H00

Tue, 15/09/2026, 08H00 - 20H00

Stanford in Bloom is a spring festival from 12 to 27 September 2026 celebrating what grows, what inspires, and what brings people together. At its heart is Life After Fire, the gold award-winning Flora of South Africa exhibit recreated as it appeared at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London earlier this year. The programme includes talks by the creative team behind the spectacular installation, an exhibition of botanical artworks from the Grootbos Florilegium, and a pop-up fynbos nursery. Set within a lively tented village, the festival brings together an artisanal market featuring local crafters and fresh produce, food stalls, a botanical gin and wine garden, live music and performances. Visitors can also take part in more than 20 gardening and creative workshops, from horticultural masterclasses and dried-flower design to candle making, cooking demonstrations, tastings and hands-on foodie experiences. Art, books and culture are also part of the programme, with exhibitions, talks and performances happening at venues throughout the village.

Chelsea Flowers in Stanford

Stanford in Bloom is proud to be associated with Chelsea Flowers in Stanford.

Chelsea Flowers in Stanford is a recreation of South Africa’s internationally acclaimed floral display, fresh from London’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show where it won a Gold Medal and Best Exhibit in the Great Pavilion.

Inspired by wildfires and the remarkable regeneration that follows, the exhibit features dramatic burnt protea branches, vibrant fynbos, indigenous orchids, flowering bulbs, and flowing water elements symbolising nature’s extraordinary ability to recover and thrive after destruction.

This is also your chance to meet acclaimed botanist Leon Kluge, artist Tristan Woudberg, and the team who brought the vision to life.

Tickets for Chelsea Flowers in Stanford are available on Webtickets, at Pick n Pay and at the door.

  • Flower Show: R250 per person
  • Children (under 12): Free Admission

Funds raised are donated to the Grootbos Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation.

Please note that dogs won’t be permitted at the event. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
