Come and join us on Saturday, the 28th of September 2019 for Stanford's well-known Mardi Gras led by the Baruch Klopse through the Village ending on the Common where artisans and buskers will merge with festival-goers to create an interactive play space of wonder!
The festival aims to celebrate Stanford, its people and its nature. It will weave a social fabric of wonder, excitement, hope and fun. Be it visual art, performance art, music, dance or spoken word, this festival will create a platform for locals to express themselves artistically and will invite established artists to mentor and perform, making a unique, interactive community arts festival.
The festival is a celebration of local creativity and plays a vital role in creating an opportunity for local artists to express themselves to a broader audience and thereby create an interactive art platform for festival-goers to participate in a day of creative activities and play.
