Screen Talk - Rise of the Superheroes
James Yeats, resident film maker and docci-addict writes about his favourite movies - this month it is the rise of the superhero flicks.
This is an art competition launched by Naas Terblanche of Vaalvlei in conjuction with Stanford River Talk. It is to build awareness of Leap Frog Day on 28 February and encourage conservation. Please drop all entries at the Stanford Tourism Office by 27 February. Mark your name, age and phone number on the back.
There will be prizes in each of the age groups - Age 4-9 and Age 10-13. The competition is open to all children in Stanford and will be judged by Naas Terblanche and a local artist.
A monthly newspaper that features local news, columns, pictures and local business advertisements, Stanford River Talk is a favourite amongst villagers and visitors.
