Stanford Wine Route

News from Raka Wines

The recent full moon got caught in the bare shoots of the dormant vines, giving us a clear indication that it is time to prune them back despite the persisting cold.

We have been blessed with abundant winter rain, a swollen river and a display of rainbows. Spring is not too far off.

Unfortunately, we are still in the grip of lockdown and not able conduct tastings, sell or deliver wine though we have been aching to introduce you to our new vintage wines. We can only sell wine online for delivery after lockdown and we hope that it is going to be soon, much sooner than spring. So visit our website here. Subscribe to our newsletter and stand a chance to win some wine from Raka! Order from our online shop. We are on our marks and set to go deliver wine as soon as the whistle blows.

Our tiny shop of collectibles and all things interesting and retro are still open in the tasting room from 10:00 to 16:00.
