Wholesome Goodness For The Whole Family

The Tasting Room is a laid-back gathering spot on Stanford Hills Estate. This breakfast and lunch venue is popular with locals and with tourists looking to experience the sights and sounds of Cape country life. Embraced by the Klein River Mountains and bountiful vineyards on one side, and a tranquil farm dam on the other, The Tasting Room allows you to be at one with nature… and with yourself. An authentic farm cottage is the base for this charming restaurant that has a spacious covered outdoor seating area. There are drop-down blinds and fireplaces to ensure that this whole-earth venue offers shelter all year round. The chef’s daily blackboard specials are sumptuous feasts that incorporate local organic produce wherever possible. Mezze platters are available and compliment the much celebrated Estate wines. The Tasting Room is child and pet-friendly and has a sandpit, trampoline, jungle gym and small boats that can be paddled around the dam. The restaurant seats 120 guests and is available for function hire.
