In January 1999, Andrew and Emma Selley (who were on Eldership at The Storehouse Church in Port Elizabeth) were sent out to plant a church in Table View. This church plant, Joshua Generation Church, began with four people in a lounge and quickly grew as God added to their number. By 2004, over 300 people were whole-heartedly committed to what God was doing through Joshgen.
