Programme Details:

Duration: 10 weeks (45-minute class once a week) from 5 July 2024 - 16 September 2024.
Cost: R1250 for the entire programme.

Week 1: Emotion Detectives

• Objective: Learn to identify and express emotions.

• Activities: Emotion charades, creating emotion masks.

Week 2: Mindful Movement Adventures

• Objective: Practice relaxation and focus techniques through movement.

• Activities: Emotion-walking, dance freeze game.

Week 3: Stress Busters

• Objective: Develop strategies to manage stress and challenges.

• Activities: Stress ball making, breathing techniques.

Week 4: Friendship Building

• Objective: Enhance communication and relationship-building skills.

• Activities: Collaborative art projects, and role-playing scenarios.

Week 5: Body Awareness Exploration

• Objective: Cultivate body awareness.

• Activities: Body scanning, sensory exploration.

Week 6: Emotional Weather Forecast

• Objective: Understand emotional fluctuations.

• Activities: Emotion-themed weather chart, feeling thermometer, energy meter.

Week 7: Creative Expressions

• Objective: Use art and storytelling for emotional expression.

• Activities: Express emotions using playdough.

Week 8: The Empathy Challenge

• Objective: Build empathy and perspective-taking skills.

• Activities: Listening circles, empathy role-play scenarios.

Week 9: Body Space

• Objective: Awareness of personal boundaries.

• Activities: Hoola-Hoop walking game, practicing boundary expressions.

Week 10: Celebration and Reflection
