The STEEP (Swellendam Tourism Economic Empowerment) Jobs Fund Project would not only put Swellendam on the map, but also transform the local tourism economy to create hundreds of new jobs and training opportunities, support new enterprises and initiate spin-off projects which use tourism to link socio-economic and infrastructure development and the conservation of our rich natural and cultural heritage.
