Things to Do Places to Eat

The Villiersdorp Skou is an annual agricultural show where we showcase farming implements and products. Lots of food, entertainment, stalls and competitions taking place. There will also be a horse show taking place.

Tickets cost: R40 (Friday) R50 (Saturday) Adults, R10 for children under 16.

  • A tractor driving competition will be held on 12/10 at 09:00, the finals will be on 13/10 at 10:30.
  • On Saturday 13/10 at 10:00 there will be a ladies function in the Annie Coetzee hall, sponsored by Brinks SPAR. Tickets are R200 which includes your entrance fee to the show for the day. Demo with Funky Ouma (spices and herbs) and Jakkie Louw. Goodie bag and lucky draws!!!
  • We have daycare facilities available at R30 per day in the "Sinkstoor". There will be activities to keep the young ones busy, including jumping castle, face painting, sand art, "boere sport", colouring competition etc. Henties puppet show will be on Saturday 13/10 at 11:00 and again at 13:00. Raptor birds will be at 10:00 also on Saturday, and live snake show at 12:00.
  • An apple packing competition will be held in the "Brandweerstoor" on Friday and Saturday. It is sponsored and organised by Idea Fruit.
