We routinely use small clear plastic bags with a seal to store a broken chain or hand over money or for a thousand other uses - but we want to cut down on plastic pollution.
We were recently approached by a lady who knits fun beanies for children. She wanted 90 lucky packet bags with a variety of paper and sticker decorations small people would like. Wrapped in tissue paper, these winter woolies will be not only a glad sight for childlren not so lucky as to have caring parents but make for a fun occasion too. Afterwards the bags can be kept, if the children like as a place for the safe-keeping of treasures - that toy car, shiny stone or picture cut from a magazine.
