We routinely use small clear plastic bags with a seal to store a broken chain or hand over money or for a thousand other uses - but we want to cut down on plastic pollution.
We had an unexpected request a few weeks ago but the result was rather special so I'd like to tell you about it. We were asked to supply envelopes for wedding invitations.
Weddings have become sumptuous celebrations, no expense spared, everything as fine as money can buy. We were approached by a bride who wanted something simpler. She had printed invitations on rougher card with less formal wording and she asked us to provide the envelopes.
The details of the recipient were written on stickers in the bride's beautiful calligraphy and affixed to the envelopes.
(The table favour, by the by, was an A-bucket with a fridge magnet inside)
Invitations are sent for other big celebrations too and it doesn't matter what the occasion is, we'd love to be part of it with envelopes to suit your preferred style.
