We routinely use small clear plastic bags with a seal to store a broken chain or hand over money or for a thousand other uses - but we want to cut down on plastic pollution.
Normal doesn't mean 'dull' although it can sound like that. Normal in Betty's Bay means waking up to a different season every day. It means going about the day's business and when you least expect it, coming across the thrill of a beautiful flower or a tortoise or the mist rolling down the mountain. while you are busy at your desk. It means magnificent sunsets which are different every day. Is anyone out there surprised to hear that we at Kerneels love this place and are so glad and grateful to be able to live here?
Nevertheless although beauty feeds one's soul it's not designed to feed the body and that is an exercise which gets more expensive month by month doesn't it? Where and how to cut down is on most of our agendas and gifts is one way. When it comes to children one doesn't want to disapppoint them and a fun gift is a lucky packet. It takes more work because you have to shop around for bargains or you end up spending as much as you would on a toy but if you do and wrap each item it's a very exciting, low-cost gift for the little people in your life you want to delight.
