Malienke van Wyk Wins ATKV Thabazimbi Short Story Competition!

Malienke van Wyk (Grade 9) has been named the winner of the high school division (Grades 8-12) in the short story category of the ATKV Thabazimbi writing competition.

Renowned youth writer, Carla van der Spuy, served as the judge and was highly impressed with Malienke's short story. In a voicemail, she mentioned that it was one of the best short stories by a high school student she has ever evaluated.

Malienke also received a signed copy of her youth novel, "Gangster."

We are truly proud of this aspiring writer!
