Here’s what’s happening at Bredasdorp High School this month:
• Governing Body Elections - Congratulations to Francois van Jaarsveld and Vasie de Wet on their election to the governing body!
• Special Guest Visit - Former student Kyle Morkel shared his journey from acting to directing his own web series, Tussen Duine, now available on YouTube.
• Academic Achievements:
- Suzanne Pretorius (Grade 12) won the Napier Word Expedition 2025 Poetry Competition.
- Afrikaans teachers attended the LOK Literature Symposium at Stellenbosch University.
• Sports Highlights:
- The First XV Rugby Team won 24-22 against Hoërskool Hottentots Holland.
- The tennis team competed in the Sun City Tournament, gaining valuable experience.
- Boland Athletics - Congratulations to Alicia Mukaratirwa, Kazimla Duti, and Urlinn Henecke for making the Boland team!
• Community Support - Thank you to local businesses for donations towards school improvements, including roofing, gardening supplies, and infrastructure.
