It's that time of the week again! Bringing you the latest news and updates about Bredasdorp and its surroundings.
An enthusiastic crowd of Bredasdorp parkrunners ran their first official parkrun since lockdown, last Saturday.
According to Arne Leuvennink, the runners missed 104 weeks of official parkrunnng over the past two years.
Since the Langefontein Road gym park area had been earmarked as the starting point of the new parkrun route, several informal gatherings and runs took place.
However, March 19 heralded the first official event.
The organisers said the 5km course is relatively easy and clearly marked out.
It starts next to the dam in Langefontein Road, runs entirely on trail paths and boasts scenic views of the Overberg landscape.
The turnabout is near the Sami Hall and the course wraps at the parking area, a 100m from the start.
