Nelson Mandela Month 2024 at Caledon Museum
Join us throughout July to celebrate the life and legacy of Nelson Mandela.
For the month of August, we will be supporting our young sisters and their sanitary dignity.
We are partnering with Beyond Black Mountain, Mina Foundation, and Emoji Movement to host a workshop on the 10th of August at 15:00, to educate our high school and college-aged girls on menstrual health.
We will also be accepting donations of sanitary products and raise funds to purchase menstrual cups at R100 a piece during the month of August.
A menstrual cup can be worn for up to 12 hours and is easy to clean. It lasts for about 15 years, which is not just cost-effective, a long-term solution against period poverty, but also good for our planet.
