The Franschhoek Pass which connects Franschhoek and the towns of Grabouw and Villiersdorp will be closed between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays.
Theewaterskloof Municipality is currently carrying out a General Valuation of all properties located in the Municipal area. The valuations are carried out according to the Local Government: Municipal Property Tax Act, Act No. 6 of 2004, as adapted (hereafter referred to as "the Act"). The new General Valuation Roll will come into effect on 1 July 2023, the date of valuation, as determined by the Council, is 1 July 2022.
For the implementation of the above, Terra Analytics (Pty) Ltd was appointed by the Municipality through a tender process.
Theewaterskloof Municipality and Terra Analytics aim to hold information sessions to explain the valuation process, the sessions will take place as follows (image attached).
