Front-Row Seats to Breathtaking Sunsets in the Gan...
Experience the breathtaking sunsets of Gansbaai at 1 Harbour Way!
1 Harbour Way is one of the original houses that first dotted the ‘’koppie” above Gansbaai’s harbour when the town was still known as a sleepy fishing village.
This elegant lady has enjoyed a lifetime of happy summer holidays, kept a watchful eye on the colourful fishing trawlers as they offload their catch, and weathered many breathtaking Cape storms.
Now refurbished and looking as trendy as any new kid on the block, 1 Harbour Way is ready to welcome future generations for memorable getaways.
When you aren’t relaxing with a refreshing sundowner on your deck watching what has been called the best sunsets in Africa, you can pop over the road to the local pub for a cocktail on theirs.
Hungry? Try the delicious cuisine at nearby restaurants or stroll down to the fishmonger in the harbour for the freshest seafood for your next braai.
A bonus activity includes epic sightings of southern right whales that migrate to Walker Bay between June and December each year.
1 Harbour Way’s location and layout make the self-catering home ideal for couples, small groups of friends, families and digital nomads who enjoy being part of a vibrant community.
The single-story house has a raised wooden deck, the perfect vantage point for your morning cup of coffee and early evening sundowners.

“This two-bedroom, two-bathroom house was a dream for our six-night stay. 1 Harbour Way’s fully equipped kitchen made mealtimes a joy, but the real stars were the amazing showers and the balcony overlooking the harbour. Watching the sunset each evening was pure magic. The summer weather added to the charm, and having a pub across the road was a delightful bonus. Safety, privacy and the convenience of a washing machine and dishwasher made our stay stress-free. The beds were incredibly comfortable. This self-catering home is in the perfect location. We are planning to return.” Ayelet
