Join us every Friday during the school holidays at the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary in Gansbaai for a series of fun, family-friendly movie afternoons that celebrate nature, friendship, and the incredible work being done to save our seabirds! On 3 July, we kick things off with The Pebble and the Penguin, a heartfelt story about a shy penguin on an adventure to find love, friendship and the courage to be himself. Then on 10 July, dive into the classic ocean adventure Shark Tale, where a small fish finds himself in a difficult position and learns the value of honesty and friendship. Finally, on 17 July, enjoy Finding Dory where a lovable and forgetful blue tang fish embarks in the adventure to find her family. and discovers the importance of friendship, perseverance and believing in yourself. Each day starts with a R50 or R100 donation as entry (R50 - free popcorn or R100 - Free popcorn and Hot chocolate). The first 10 bookings will receive a free comic book. Soft drinks will be available, and while adults can enjoy provided seating, kids are encouraged to bring a blanket or pillow for extra comfort. It’s the perfect way to spend the holidays—make memories, learn something new, and support our penguin conservation efforts all at once!
