Join us every Thursday during the school holidays at the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary in Gansbaai for a series of fun, family-friendly movie afternoons that celebrate nature, friendship, and the incredible work being done to save our seabirds! On 3 July, we kick things off with My Penguin Friend, a heartfelt story about an unlikely bond between a fisherman and a rescued penguin. Then on 10 July, dive into the classic ocean adventure Finding Nemo, where a clown fish daddy fish faces the dangers of the ocean to find his son, Nemo. Finally, on 17 July, enjoy the laugh-out-loud charm of Penguins | Disneynature, following Steve the Adélie penguin on his journey through the wilds of Antarctica. Each day starts with a R50 donation as entry (includes FREE popcorn!). Soft drinks will be available, and while adults can enjoy provided seating, kids are encouraged to bring a blanket or pillow for extra comfort. It’s the perfect way to spend the holidays—make memories, learn something new, and support our penguin conservation efforts all at once!

Throwback Thursday at the Penguin Sanctuary – Featuring Finding Nemo!

This Throwback Thursday, dive into a sea of laughter, lessons, and lovable characters with a screening of the Pixar classic Finding Nemo! Join us at the African Penguin & Seabird Sanctuary in Gansbaai on Thursday, 10 July for an underwater adventure perfect for the whole family.

About the Movie:
