Cliff Lodge has a spectacular setting on the cliffs of Walker Bay in the peaceful suburb of De Kelders. Gansbaai is just 10 minutes away and the bustling resort town of Hermanus is only 30 km away.
The guest house is right on the sea front with uninterrupted sea views. The beautiful beaches of the Walker Bay Nature Reserve are an easy 10 minute walk from the lodge – beachcombing heaven. During whale season (June – November), guests can watch the magnificent Southern Right Whales from the comfort of the guest house. De Kelders is one of the best places in the world for shore based whale watching. Gansbaai is also the best place to experience Great White Shark diving. Other activities in the area are horse riding, quad biking, sea kayaking and wine tasting at the fabulous Overberg vineyards.
Cliff Lodge is a small, owner run guest house, and we strive to make our guest's holidays extra special. Gideon and Gill, and our charming manager Nico, are always on hand to make sure that your stay is memorable and happy. Our five rooms range from a luxurious spacious sea front suite to standard rooms with good side sea views. All of our rooms have sea facing decks or patios. All rooms have satellite TV, misting fans, heaters, gowns, lovely locally made natural toiletries, and all comforts.
A delicious, extensive breakfast is served on our sea front deck and all weather conservatory. We have a range of superb loose leaf teas and serve excellent coffee.
