Die Gansbaai Visserman's Fees

Die Gansbaai Visserman’s Fees is a community festival on 28 September 2024 at the Old Harbour. Don’t miss this family-friendly event in honour of the local fishing community! Die Gansbaai Visserman’s Fees features a great lineup of live music, featuring Juan Boucher and Ryno Velvet with supporting acts that include Academia Sharkies Marimba Band, Edian, Strandveld Orkes, Leandri Martin and DJ John. Enjoy ice-cold ales and brandy specials in the beer tent, while the tea garden offers a quieter spot for lighter drinks and cake. The children’s play area, organised by Laerskool Gansbaai, has exciting activities to keep the little ones busy. Die Gansbaai Visserman’s Fees will also have a market area with stalls selling delicious food, handmade crafts, and unique gifts.

Please be aware that the beer tent will have a cashless bar that only accepts card payments.

Beer Tent / Bar

At the Gansbaai Visserman's Fees, the beer tent will be the place to get together, celebrate, and raise a glass or three!

The fully licensed bar will be stocked with all your favourites. Enjoy ice-cold beers, local wines, and great brandy specials.

Please note, the bar will only take cards and no cash will be accepted.

No alcohol sales to children under the age of 18.

Tea Garden

Die Gansbaai Visserman's Fees has a special spot for tea totallers.

The tea garden is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea, a slice of cake, and a friendly chat. If tea isn’t your thing, coffee and cold drinks will be on sale too!

Tickets for Die Gansbaai Visserman’s Fees cost only R10 each, making it an affordable event for everyone to enjoy. Plus, every ticketholder will be entered into a lucky draw with a chance to win great prizes!
