Dwell Property Management’s Joe Callahan has been the proud owner of a home in De Kelders for 20 years, and his love for the Overberg region runs deep.
Before transitioning to property management, Joe was a cancer research scientist, a career he pursued until just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon retirement, he expanded his horizons and entered the short-term rental market, across three continents: De Kelders, Italy, and Miami.
Due to the limited availability of luxury property management services in the Gansbaai area, Joe faced challenges managing his property in De Kelders. Determined to give his property the attention it deserved, he decided to take matters into his own hands, despite not being based in South Africa. And so, Dwell Property Management was born.

Waterkant Street is a luxury three-bedroom, thatched-roof home, one house away from the ocean and a short stroll from a sheltered swimming cove, making it ideal for families and groups of friends.
The home exudes a feeling of spaciousness with its double-volume ceilings, entertainment area, and deck, perfect for sundowners and braais. Inside, the open-plan living space offers a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a dining area with a large friendship table, and a comfortable lounge with a cosy fireplace, creating the ideal environment for a relaxing stay.
The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and toilet.

Xairu is a luxury two-storey, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home offering fantastic sea views from every room and the garden.
Ground Floor:
The open-plan ground-floor living area includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and cosy lounge. A Morsø stove with a radiant chimney extends into the lounge on the top floor.
The first and second bedrooms share a bathroom, with a shower, basin and toilet.
Top Floor:
The upper level has a lounge, a wood-burning fireplace and a wraparound deck with sea and mountain views.

Ocean View Getaway is a luxurious four-bedroom, double-storey home in Pearly Beach, perfect for families and groups of friends.
The main upstairs living area is open, bright, and welcoming, with large windows that flood the space with natural light and offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. Modern and stylishly decorated, this floor has a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge.
The spacious downstairs entertainment room is the centre point of fun times after a day out exploring the area. It has an indoor braai, pool table, ping pong table, various board games and a TV to watch live sporting matches.

“What a beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood. Dwell Property Management ensured everything we could ever need was there. Our home had an ocean view and we saw whales. There was a Nespresso machine and a huge TV with Netflix and YouTube. We also received fruit and wine as a welcome gift. The kitchen was stocked with the basics including cooking oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, and coffee. There's a dishwasher, washing machine and a tumble dryer.
