Dwell Property Management’s Joe Callahan has been the proud owner of a home in De Kelders for 20 years, and his love for the Overberg region runs deep.

Before transitioning to property management, Joe was a cancer research scientist, a career he pursued until just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Upon retirement, he expanded his horizons and entered the short-term rental market, across three continents: De Kelders, Italy, and Miami.

Due to the limited availability of luxury property management services in the Gansbaai area, Joe faced challenges managing his De Kelders property. Determined to give his property the attention it deserved, he decided to take matters into his own hands, despite not being based in South Africa. And so, Dwell Property Management was born.

The home exudes a feeling of spaciousness with its double-volume ceilings, entertainment area, and deck, perfect for sundowners and braais. Inside, the open-plan living space offers a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, a dining area with a large friendship table, and a comfortable lounge with a cosy fireplace, creating the ideal environment for a relaxing stay.
