Sediment filtration removes sediments such as rust, sand, dust, silt, heavy metals and other large debris in the water.
Activated carbon block (ACB) filtration is effective in removing the taste and odour of chlorine in the water.
ACB reduces contaminants such as lead, volatile organic compounds and microscopic cysts. The high porosity powder form results in a larger surface area, which allows it to absorb more contaminants in water and prevent water from channelling. Due to its tiny pore size, it is also highly resistant to bacterial growth.
Granular activated carbon (GAC) can be used as a pre-filter to protect the carbon block filter from larger particles and achieve greater removal of the taste and odour of chlorine, chemicals and other contaminants in your tap water.
