Elim Flower Festival

Elim Moravian Community holds their biennial Flower Festival over the weekend 21-22 September 2018. The Festival has been a fixture in the community since 1988. This event has transformed to accommodate a number of events and exhibitions showcasing the town of Elim and its surroundings. This event encompasses a variety of participation from youth, community members and visitors through music, exhibitions, displays and other entertainment. The vision is to host a community event, celebrating cultural and historical value, showcasing environmental awareness which will also offer economic benefit to the village.

The purpose is to market the cultural and historical heritage of Elim since 1834. Support and advance local entrepreneurship, stimulate the local economy through extended visitor stay and spend. Host an existing renowned event at the highest level of professionalism.

The event is the biggest event of the year and the only opportunity for the village to generate much-needed income for business and individuals.
