Fostering Animals

“There are two surreal moments on my journey with each dog I help. The first one is when I meet them and I see the hope and relief in their eyes as they realise that I am there to help them. The second is when I’ve walked a mile with them and get the same look, but this time it's the highest form of gratitude. It’s the reward for what I do and the spark that keeps my passion for animal rescue alive.”
Fostering Animals was founded in 2011 by Dee Henderson.

Fostering Animals encourages pet sterilisation.
Sterilisation is one of the most responsible things you can do as a pet owner. Neutering and spaying prevent unwanted litters, reduce the number of stray animals on the streets, and help curb the overpopulation of dogs and cats.
The Problem with Irresponsible Breeding
Uncontrolled or irresponsible breeding contributes heavily to overpopulation. Puppies and kittens are often born without homes, left to fend for themselves, or even abandoned. Some end up in shelters, and many do not survive.
Sterilisation is a simple and effective way to stop this cycle and ensure every animal has a safe, loving environment.
Beyond population control, sterilisation improves your pet’s health, lowers the risk of certain cancers, and can reduce aggressive or territorial behaviours.
By choosing to sterilise, you are giving your pet a healthier, happier life and helping build a safer, more compassionate community for all animals.
