New Artificial Turf
We're happy to share that construction is underway!
Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre was officially opened in April 2008 under the ABSA Spaces for Sports banner.
The facility was built in the centre of three culturally diverse communities, which include Gansbaai, Blompark and Masakhane with a pathway leading directly to the sports field from each neighbourhood. This layout makes it equally accessible to all people as a neutral space.
Through its sports programmes, the centre is committed to providing young people with constructive focus while fostering their pride and ambition.
The Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre welcomes youth who are part of a sports programme and the general public who want a place to train.
Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre is available for community and private events.
The clubhouse has a capacity of 50 people while the grounds have room for thousands.
There is a customised cost sheet and venue fees are calculated based on the specifics of the event or function.
Contact Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre for more information about event and function hire.
Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre’s clubhouse serves as a clinic dispensary and governmental satellite office on pre-arranged dates.
Gansbaai Communal Sport Centre needs your help to remain self-sustainable and to fund maintenance and reparation projects.
Donations are most welcome and greatly appreciated.
