How Norman started to walk

How Norman started to walk

Gansbaai Courant

Norman Fisher (86) from De Kelders, well-known Golf Club President,  underwent  a  long period of extremely serious illness with regards to his heart, liver and kidneys since 2012. His wife June read an article regarding Eugene Wood with regards to specific therapy and Eugene agreed to help. Eugene lived and worked in London for 13 years, returning to South Africa in August  2013.

He battled  with  his weight for most of his life. In  2010, weighing his heaviest, he made a decision to change the  way  he  was living and started focusing on exercise and improved nutrition. When he started to see the positive results in his own life he decided to study further so that he could help others as well. Eugene qualified as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, Kettlebell Instructor, and Suspended Movement Instructor. He is currently studying Nutrition to add to his portfolio. Eugene works with people on a one to one basis or in groups.

He was excited about being asked  to  assist  with Norman Fisher’s (from De Kelders) recovery in October 2013.  Norman, after having been very ill for a long time and almost bedridden, can now walk, unaided, around the block near his home.  Not only does Eugene assist people with their physical training and nutritional needs but he is also a great motivator with Norman being excited about entering  the  4km  Roof  of Africa walk in Bredasdorp in October.

If you feel you would like to chat to Eugene regarding fitness, exercise or nutrition, feel free to contact him on 061-464-2632.
