As is our usual custom, Taurus Chemicals Cape Kelp (Pty) Ltd has once again participated in Mandela day. This year however we decided to join forces with a couple of other business in Gansbaai as we were not only planning on doing our 67 minutes but making life more comfortable for the two ECD Centres in Masakhane; namely Good Hope and Takalane ECD Centres.

A while ago we were invited to Good Hope ECD centre for a small talk by our beloved Mayor, Mrs Nicolette Botha-Guthire’s. Once there TCCK fell in love with the children and the work that Flower Valley Conservation Trust is doing. We just had to become involved in this project. One of the things that stood out for us, was the fact that both centres was in dire need of a fix me upper; and this is how the centres became not only our Mandela day project, but also part of our donations list for 2015.

We have started on a couple of projects but due to weather conditions we had to postpone most of our work. This will not set us back in our goal and we will keep trying to finish what we have started.
