This workshop was specifically aimed at giving the members more insight into the WESGRO website - the website which markets the whole of the Western Cape and more specifically the members of the various tourism bureaux. The workshop for Stanford and Gansbaai was held at the Gansbaai Tourism Bureau on the 6th of February.
The members who were able to attend found it most informative and were motivated to send the required info through to Doulene at the Bureau so that it can be uploaded on the official website. The workshop was presented by Mohammed Parker. The new website was launched in December 2012: www.tourismcapetown.co.za. "The workshop was free and so is the website - a marketing opportunity! A presence on the Wesgro website is one of the advantages of being a member of the Tourism Bureau," said Glenda Kitley, Manager: Gansbaai Tourism Bureau proudly.
