Prospective applicants wishing to register as tax payers or applying for a Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) may visit the following venues on the following dates for assistance by the South African Revenue Services (SARS):
STRUISBAAI: Monday, 9 September 201 from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Fishery Compliance Office, Harbour Road, Struisbaai
HERMANUS: Tuesday, 10 September 2013 from 09:00 to 15:00 at the Fishery Compliance Office, 248 Still Street, Hermanus
Please note that SARS will not be able to process new requests for TCC’s at these venues. SARS will prepare the paperwork and process these requests back at their offices. The Department will then assist in getting the issued TCC’s to applicants before the receipting of fishing rights applications starts. Should applicants have already applied to be registered as tax payers or to get a TCC before the above-mentioned dates, then SARS will be able to issue and print those TCC at the above-mentioned venues. In areas where SARS is not able to deploy staff to assist fishing communities, applicants may approach their nearest SARS office or call the SARS Call Centre at 0800-007-277 (toll-free) for assistance.
