Gansbaai Mosque warmly welcomes Muslims living in Gansbaai, visitors to our town, and the wider community. Our doors are open for all five daily prayers, Jumu‘ah, Eid prayers, Qur’an classes, Islamic education, lectures and other Islamic events. Our vision extends beyond prayer. We strive to be an active, positive and welcoming part of the Gansbaai community, building meaningful connections through friendship, respect, understanding, cooperation and service. Everyone is encouraged to get to know our Muslim community and join us in community activities, educational programmes, charity initiatives and projects that bring people together. The Mosque is led by an Imam and Teacher of Islamic Knowledge (I.K.), who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Islamic Law from Madinah University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is currently pursuing a BA at Unicaf University.
