We trust that you are all geared up for the winter, wood piles in stock, all the soup recipes in hand, the ingredients waiting to  be  cooked,  and  the  winter  woolies and blankets are unpacked and aired.

So far we have had a very successful Bingo evening and the Car Boot Sales are still very popular and going strong.

It is with much regret and sadness that we have to say goodbye and farewell to Bill and Molly Hollington who have been members of the GFC for the last 10 years. They are relocating to the UK and will be leaving on the 30^th May.

Molly we will miss your tinkling laugh, your blessings and your prayers. You and Bill have been a wonderful example to all of us regarding your faith and belief. We wish you health, love and happiness. May God bless you in abundance and may  you  have  a  rich harvest of souls in the UK. Travel mercies to you both.

A beautiful handmade wall hanging was handed over to them so that they would not forget us here in Gansbaai. This was made by Elna Batt and Jill Collings.

Other news, we are having another CAR BOOT SALE on Saturday 31^st of May at 8:30, Buitekant Street, Gansbaai. All welcome, please come and support this fund raising project for the GFC. It will only cost you R50.00 per vehicle if you wish to sell. Tea and cakes will also be on sale.

We will also be hosting a Bingo evening on Friday the 23^rd May 2014, at the GFC 6:30 for 7:00.  This  is  a fun filled evening, with lots of prizes to be won, a curry and rice supper with desert, including 5 bingo tickets and all for the bargain price of R40pp. Extra bingo tickets can be bought for R2.00 each.
