Franskraal Bowling Club was lucky enough to host a group of 36 bowlers and 15 of their non-bowling companions from Hertfordshire in the UK who were on a sightseeing and bow-ling holiday. 

Players were from various clubs within Hertfordshire and were able to experience the very best hospitality at Franskraal and a full afternoon of bowls.  We filled both greens (72 players in total) and even the weather was kind to us.

Franskraal players won 8 of the 12 games played, but a team from the visitors scored the most points and won the wine donated by Franschhoek Bowling Club where the players were based. Franskraal Bowling Club wish to thank Franschhoek for allowing us to host this event and we hope that we can do so again in the future.
