February arrived and is on its way out. Valentine has been celebrated and now we are moving into March with the school holidays coming up. We have been blessed with wonderful weather, for everyone to enjoy.
Over the past weeks we have had quite a few overseas visitors, and it has been a great joy having them with us. Our Sunday school is also up and running and should there be interest in joining the Sunday school, Daphne Bartlett can be contacted at 028 38 3843565. All very welcome.
One of our very long standing members will be leaving us soon; it is with great regret that we will be saying goodbye to Bill and Molly Hollington, who will be moving to Hermanus. We will miss Molly’s “God Bless” to one and all and her tinkling laugh on Sunday Mornings. Bill and Molly we wish you God’s richest blessings in this new venture, and be assured of GFC’s prayers and blessings.
We had a wonderful Bingo evening on Friday 21st February. 88 persons, from all over enjoyed this well organized event. Thank you to all of you who attended. Our heartfelt thanks to Fish Lady for supplying the fish and chips and delivering it. To all our Sponsors, Spar, Ok, Sarona’s, Rosemary’s, Gansbaai Discount Liquor’s, Car Wash Main Road, Ds Coetzee and all others who donated prizes for the evening, thank you so much for supporting GFC in this fund raising venture. Good news for those who were not able to attend, we are planning another 3 for this year, so if you have missed out, next time.
Other news, our last Car Boot sale was slow in starting, but in the end went off well. We are having the next CAR BOOT SALE on Saturday 1st of March, at 8:30, Buitekant Street, Gansbaai. All welcome, please come and support this fund raising project for the GFC. It will only cost you R50.00 per vehicle if you wish to sell. Tea and Cakes will also be on sale.

The next Car Boot Sale will be on the 29th of March 2014.
On the 14th March, will be holding a Sunset Market at 6pm plus a free Film Show at 7:15pm “A fist full of Dollars”
