Atlantic Abalone has recently embarked on a training journey with 2 groups who have joined the AgriSETA Animal Production level 1 (in Aquaculture) Certificate.
Dr Lizeth Botes, director of Sound Interaxions, have done the first set of accredited Unit Standards with these learners and will take the learners through the process until they have the 120 credits needed for the full qualification. The training not only improves the skills of the learners in Aquaculture but the farm’s quality in the product they produce will also improve as a result of the improved in depth knowledge about the abalone production process that the learners obtain during the training.
