Gansbaai Courant het heelwat klagtes van padgebruikers ontvang dat die R43-pad tussen Stanford en Gansbaai onveilig is.
Riana de Coning, Counsillor for Ward 2 Overstrand, plan to bring some warmth to the pre-schoolers in the whole Gansbaai area, this coming winter, by providing each of them with a hand knitted cap and mittens.
“Community members are urged to donate a ball of wool and the ‘knitters’ in our mist, to volunteer to do the knitting,” she said. “For the purpose of this project a container, clearly marked with the DA slogan, is available at Needles and Pins, in the White Shark Junction shopping centre Gansbaai, where a ball of wool can be bought for a mere R20 and placed in the box.”

Wol en patrone sal dan aan hulle besorg word. “Gedurende die wintermaand van 2015 kan ons kinders warm en gelukkig wees, met die wete dat daar volwassenes is wat werklik omgee. Sy sê die hoofdoel is om die gemeenskap aan te moedig om wol vir die projek te skenk.
