We would like to thank these volunteers for their service to our school and athletes and wish them well for the future.  Here is a short description of each:

Maria:  “I’m 19 years old and from Germany.  I’m already in SA for 5 months and I volunteered in 3 different projects.  Gansbaai is my last project and I’m an athletic volunteer.”

Karina:  “I am 18 years old and I am from Germany. I finished my A levels in June last year and I start studying this year. I am in South Africa for 4 months now and this is my second voluntary project.”

Sophia:  “I am 18 years old and a German volunteer.  I’m in South Africa now 4 months.  I’m staying in Gansbaai for 3 months and I’m working for the Football Foundation as an athletics volunteer (mainly high jump and long jump).”

Felix:  “I am 19 years old.  I enjoy sprinting the most and am proud of the Gansbaai Laerskool athletes who did so well this season, it was a lot of fun.  I am from Germany, am doing my gap year at the moment and want to study film making in Germany once I go back.”
